About my academic background and work experience

I am an Italian language tutor and cultural‑programming professional with over a decade of experience designing and delivering structured, engaging, and goal‑oriented learning experiences.

• My academic background in social sciences and Italian literature — developed at the University of Bologna’s Faculty of Literature and Philosophy and complemented by an MA in Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture from the University of Westminster — provides a strong foundation in human learning from pedagogical, neurological, and cultural perspectives. Throughout my studies and professional experience, I have explored and effectively implemented diverse teaching methodologies, adapting them to a wide range of learning styles, needs, and objectives.

• Since 2017, I have taught Italian to hundreds of adult learners through private lessons, online courses, and structured learning programs. My interdisciplinary background allows me to assess individual learning needs with precision and to design learning paths that are both educational and culturally immersive.

• I always been passionate about art and alongside my work as an Italian tutor, I gained extensive experience in museums and cultural institutions across London. I facilitated visitor engagement, led guided tours, and delivered creative workshops and cultural activities. This strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, organise complex programs with defined learning goals, and create inclusive educational environments for diverse audiences.

• In 2022, I founded Spazio Diagonale, a cultural organisation in Italy dedicated to educational and creative programming, where I curate exhibitions and lead workshops that foster cultural engagement and creative exploration.

Across all my work, I bring strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for helping people connect with Italian language, culture, and art in meaningful ways.
